Dardo Salas
Dardo Salas is one of the principal founders of Radio Tierra. Dardo and Aaron began planning and fundraising in 1999. Five years of hard work and countless hours later, the dream of a community radio station was finally realized when Radio Tierra began broadcasting in January 2004. Dardo has been one of the principal technicians for the station, as well as providing space and innumerable hours of volunteer time to keep the station broadcasting 24/7. Dardo and his family -Anne, Nico and Alex – lived in Hood River for the last 15 years until recently relocating to Olympia. Dardo is an architect and has donated generously of his professional expertise and time to many community projects. |
