| John and his wife Jessica moved to Hood River in 2005 from Portland. He works as a hydrologist and programmer during the day. His love of Jazz, Blues and American Roots and Folk music brought him to Radio Tierra where he started “That Dusty Road.” He also provides technical engineering and programming for the station including maintaining the somewhat troublesome audio equipment and failing network. This means he spends most of his time working with cables instead of behind the mic. He dreams of a day where when he can be a DJ again. |
| Juan y su esposa Jessica se mudaron a Hood River in 2005 de Portland. Trabaja como un hidrólogo y programador durante el dÃa. Su amor por el jazz, blues y musica folclórica de los Estados Unidos lo trajo a Radio Tierra donde comenzó con su programa Este Camino Polvoriento.  El es el ingeniero de la radio y programador del sistema de las computadoras, incluyendo mantenimiento y reparaciones del equipo y la red. Lo cual es que el se pasa la mayor parte del tiempo trabajando con los cables en lugar de estar atrás del micrófono. Sueña con volver a ser un locutor nuevamente algún dÃa. |
