Radio Tierra, a community radio station, transmits on 95.1 FM. As community facilitators, Radio Tierra will provide training and support for community members or groups to produce their own radio programs. A wide variety of locally-produced programs will air each week, with time slots anywhere from 15 minutes to two hours.


In addition to traditional music and news shows, Radio Tierra invites community members to explore a wide variety of themes, emphasizing programs that deal with local issues and/or serve communities which are under-served by the mainstream media.

Our mission is to provide high quality, innovative programming to the Gorge and the rest of the world. We aim to bring together our diverse populations in order to promote mutual understanding, community support, and opportunities for community development. Significant prominence will be given to broadcasting in Spanish and outreach to area youth.
