Donate Now! (or before December 31st!)
Because of you, Radio Tierra has begun streaming online!
This is a big step, and you helped us take it. We launched our live streaming capabilities on October 5th, 2018. Our airwaves can now be accessed by going online to radiotierra.org and clicking the LIVE RADIO STREAM button.
Your support for Radio Tierra fosters
a more informed and more involved community.
When community radio is accessible, more of the community is educated, and more of the community has a voice. With your generous gift, you can bring the energizing voices of Humberto Calderon’s Amanecer Campirano, the current events insights of Leti Valle’s Conectados con Leti, and your favorite uplifting melodies with De Parranda con Rosario to your neighbors. The reason you listen can be the reason you donate.
Your gift of:
o $500 will enable essential infrastructure repairs to transmitters to increase listening quality
o $100 can help purchase the necessary equipment for remote broadcasting capabilities
o $50 can ensure that ICE detainees in The Dalles hear their song requests
o $20 will help Maestra Alexa dream up and record her next show on Aprendiendo con
Maestra Alexa

The Hood River County Library Foundation invites you
Party in the library!
The Hood River County Library Foundation invites you to the Hood River Library on Saturday, March 10 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm for their annual fundraiser, A Feast of Words. Enjoy delicious food, decadent desserts, beverages from Viento Wines, Thunder Island Brewing and Dog River Coffee, and live music while bidding on silent and live auctions.
Music will be provided by The Quiet American. Sponsors include Insitu, Michael & Angela Schock, Haynie DMD @HR Dental, Columbia State Bank, Duckwall Fruit, Gorge Networks, Sheppard’s, Best Western PLUS Hood River Inn, Farm Stand in the Gorge, Gorge-Us Photography, and Little Shredders Dental.
The Library Foundation aims to raise $30,000 this year, which will be used to support and improve library services in the communities of Cascade Locks and Odell. In Cascade Locks, funds will help develop the Cascade Locks Branch at its new location in the Cascade Locks Elementary School, a space that is almost three times larger and will feature a defined kids, teen and adult area. There will also be a large area to hold library programs, complete with a home theater system for showing movies and hosting presentations. In addition, funds will also help purchase technology, new furniture and shelving units for the space.
In Odell, the District is working to provide regular library service to Odell, a community that currently does not have a physical library branch. Funds raised at the Feast of Words will help fund programs for all ages, technology access and a weekly bookmobile in Odell.
Tickets are $25 each and are available at any library branch, Volcanic Bottle Shoppe, Waucoma Bookstore and at the door day of the event.

Storytime Yoga at Trinity Body Arts
For the last twenty years, I have found joy in sharing magical written words and illustrations with the students in my classrooms. The sparks of inspiration and insightful wisdom found in the minds of young people, as they find connection and compassion through stories, have built thoughtful communities of learners and created relationships based on empathy and imagination. Storytime Yoga is an opportunity to combine my passion for children’s literature and yoga for a playful and heartfelt experience. Please join me for four weeks as we give breath to stories that bring body, mind, and heart into community. Stephenie Going
We are now accepting new students in our youth martial arts program, with classes for students ranging in age from 5-16. Details are available on our website: trinitynaturalmedicine.org
